Adolescent Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment Program (ADAPT)
ADAPT is an early intervention program for adolescents (ages 10-17) who have committed minor offenses, have substance abuse issues, or are considered at risk for developing such problems.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Assessment, Consultation, and Treatment Program (AACT)
The AACT program serves children and adolescents (ages 2 to 22) demonstrating behavioral problems consistent with a "diagnosis" of ADHD.
Children that display other behavioral problems in addition to ADHD, such as noncompliance, defiance, social problems, anxiety, and mood problems, may also be evaluated.
Center for Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness (CBAP)
The Center for Bioterrorism and All-Hazards Preparedness (CBAP) at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine (NSU-COM) is a regional and national resource for the provision of educational services and programs focused on bioterrorism and all-hazards preparedness and response for health care professionals, health care workers, first responders, and students preparing for health careers.

Community Resolution Services (CRS)
Offers training and workshops, as well as mediation and facilitation services, to individuals, families, organizations, groups, and communities to help resolve conflict through the Department of Conflict Analysis and Resolution (DCAR) at NSU's Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (SHSS). CRS also provides DCAR faculty and professional staff members for consultations.
Counseling Center for Older Adults (NCCOA)
The Nova Southeastern University Counseling Center for Older Adults (NCCOA) welcomes adults who are age 55 and older who are interested in finding more effective ways of managing the difficult situations that can sometimes occur in their lives.
Criminal Justice Institute (CJI)
Offers interdisciplinary programs to individuals interested in law enforcement and the justice system. Student who complete the programs will be awarded a master of science degree in criminal justice. The CJI focuses on a core curriculum and allows for specialty training through various tracks. CJI offers different specializations in conjunction with the Fischler School of Education and Human Services, the Center for Pyschological Studies, the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, the Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, or the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Students can also choose from elective courses at the graduate level throughout NSU.
Dateline Health
Dateline Health is NSU's public service show hosted by Dr. Fred Lippman, chancellor of NSU Health Professions Division. The 30-minute show provides up-to-date health care news, expertise and special guests who discuss a wide range of health issues.

Healthy Lifestyles Guided Self-Change Program
The Healthy Lifestyles Guided Self-Change Program offers unique outpatient services for individuals concerned about healthy lifestyle changes, exercise, weight loss, dietary changes, procrastination, alcohol use, and drug use. The Program also offers a smoking cessation program and services for those with concerns about their gambling or eating behavior. Services are available in English and Spanish.
Hudson Institute of Entrepreneurship
and Executive Education
Provides practical business education, hands-on learning, and expert consulting services to organizations and individuals. The institute offers nondegree courses that give companies, managers, and employees the critical edge needed to excel in today's instensily competitive business environment. The institute offers a variety of public programs and also works directly with organizations to develop customized training that can be delivered on-site at a corporation or agency.
Intensive Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Center
IPPC provides diagnostic and intensive treatment services to adults, adolescents and children (ages 10 and older) who would benefit from intensive treatment. In addition, IPPC strives to meet the need for intensive psychotherapy by offering a greater frequency of sessions and a lengthier therapeutic experience. In dynamic therapy the client and therapist look at the present and the past, and work to foster a more adaptive, gratifying and productive future.
Lifelong Learning Institute
This innovative program was the
first to offer retired or semi-retired men and women
in South Florida an opportunity to continue their academic
interests through member driven lectures. Established
in 1977, the original Institute took the concept further
by adding outside speakers to its all-inclusive agenda.
Neuropsychology Assessment Center
The goals of neuropsychological assessment and testing are to diagnose disorders of the central nervous system; to provide consultation on the etiology, rate of progression, and prognosis of known or suspected cerebral pathology; and to offer recommendations or referrals for the patient's treatment.
Nova Singers
The Nova Singers is a voluntary community chorus of over 140 voices serving as musical ambassadors for Nova Southeastern University.
This premier choir annually performs a series of concerts in a variety of venues throughout South Florida and beyond - including Europe, Washington, D.C., and their 2003 concert series in North Carolina. Now in its 29th season, their repertoire spans generations of composers and reflects a valuable diversity that touches hearts universally. Program for the Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (PSED)
The PSED program serves individuals ranging in age from 4 to adulthood who exhibit some manifestation of a thought or mood disorder and demonstrate serious emotional disturbance consistent with a diagnosis of any psychotic disorder or major affective disorder with psychotic features. Individuals may exhibit symptoms such as depression, mania, delusions, hallucinations, flat affect, poor social development, lack of self-care, social isolation or withdrawal, peculiar behavior, or odd beliefs.
School Psychology Assessment and Consultation Center (SPACC)
The NSU School Psychology Assessment and Consultation Center (SPACC) offers comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for school-related academic, behavioral, developmental, and learning problems. These evaluations are performed by advanced school psychology trainees who have completed their entire sequence of assessment and integrated report writing courses. The assessment process is closely supervised by the SPACC director, Dr. Gene Cash, who is a licensed psychologist, an NSU faculty member, and a nationally certified school psychologist.
The Brief Therapy Institute
(BTI) is South Florida's primary training center for brief counseling and family therapy through the Department of Family Therapy (DFT) at SHSS. BTI offers a sliding scale fee, day and evening appointments, access to therapeutic teams, quickly scheduled first appointments, and Spanish-speaking therapists.
The Guy Harvey Research Institute
Named for the world-renowned marine artist and conservationist, conducts basic and applied research and disseminates information for effective conservation, restoration, biodiversity maintenance, enhancement, and understanding of the world's wild fish resources.
The Institute of Trauma and Victimization Stimulates research and sponsors training and service delivery in the field of trauma and victimization. It develops and evaluates interventions for individuals who are exposed to trauma.

Education (IIFE)
Demonstrated leader around the world in domestic and international executive education programs and research. IIFE's goal is to provide high-quality programs for a diverse group of participants including prospective and existing franchisors, franchisees, and franchise service providers, as well as teachers and researchers. The National Coral Reef Institute
Conducts rigorous scientific research, education, and community service in order to understand, monitor, restore, and manage coral reefs, including those damaged or destroyed by natural or human-induced events.
The South Florida Ocean Measurement Center
A joint effort between governmental agencies and educational institutions, employs a vast, in-water installation, built offshore by Broward County where reefs and the Gulf Stream provide a vast natural laboratory for understanding the ocean environment.
